Job Summary

A company is looking for a Journeyman Contract Specialist to support the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

Solicit, evaluate, negotiate, and administer construction and Architect-Engineer (A&E) contracts
Support pre-award and post-award activities for construction projects, including modifications and claims
Advise on contract awards, terminations, and closeouts in accordance with relevant regulations

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of federal contracting experience focused on Construction and/or A&E procurements
Experience administering construction and A&E contracts, including pricing and post-award administration
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
Strong knowledge of FAR and VAAR, particularly related to construction and A&E
Experience with federal facilities or capital improvement projects is preferred
