Journeyman Contract Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs, the remote Journeyman Contract Specialist will provide cradle-to-grave procurement support, including soliciting and analyzing contracts for commercial and non-commercial goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Solicit, evaluate, negotiate, and analyze contracts for complex and high-value acquisitions
• Advise on contract awards and terminations, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Prepare and maintain contract files while developing recommendations for the Contracting Officer

Required qualifications

• 4 years of Federal Contracting Experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Familiarity with FAR and VAAR based procurements
