Journeyman Contract Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Department of Veterans Affairs, a remote Journeyman Contract Specialist will manage the procurement process, including soliciting, evaluating, and negotiating contracts for various goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Solicit, evaluate, negotiate, and analyze contracts for complex and high-value acquisitions
• Advise on contract awards and terminations, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Prepare and maintain contract files and develop recommendations for the Contracting Officer

Required qualifications

• 4 years of Federal Contracting experience
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Familiarity with FAR and VAAR based procurements
