Journeyman DevSecOps Engineer
Job Summary
To support a platform engineering team, the remote Journeyman DevSecOps Engineer will manage ITSM queues, build automated CI/CD pipelines, and implement infrastructure changes to enhance platform stability and DevSecOps practices.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and execute the ITSM queue for incidents, requests, and changes at a Tier 3 level while coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Build automated GitLab CI/CD pipelines for deploying and testing new versions of supported tools and application base images
- Identify and implement infrastructure changes and automations to improve platform stability through agile sprints
Required qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance
- Security+ certification (can be obtained during onboarding)
- Direct experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and pipeline automation
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, and DevSecOps principles
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as the ELK Stack
