Journeyman Electrician Estimator
Job Summary
To support electrification initiatives, the remote Electrical Estimator will develop accurate cost estimates for EV infrastructure projects, collaborating with sales and engineering teams while utilizing industry-standard estimating software.
Key responsibilities
- Develop cost estimates for EV infrastructure projects in collaboration with Account Executives and Project Managers
- Conduct site assessments and prepare detailed quantity take-offs and material lists
- Research market rates and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing
Required qualifications
- 7-10+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably with an electrical contractor
- Journeyman Electrician certification required; Master Electrician preferred
- Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and EV charging infrastructure
- Proficiency in cost estimating software, with ConEst preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
