Journeyman HR Specialist
Job Summary
Providing day-to-day Federal position classification support, the full-time Journeyman HR Specialist will draft and standardize Position Descriptions (PDs), ensure accuracy of classification data, and maintain PD records while working onsite in Silver Spring, MD.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and standardize Position Descriptions and evaluation statements in collaboration with supervisors
- Provide classification support using OPM standards for various Federal positions
- Review and update PDs to ensure completeness and accuracy for classification
Required qualifications
- 4 years of Federal Classification Experience with drafting and classifying PDs
- Strong knowledge of Federal classification and position management requirements
