Job Summary
Supporting the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency's TERPS production software, the full-time remote Journeyman Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and services while collaborating with an Agile team on aeronautical and geospatial data processing.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, modify, test, debug, and maintain software applications, services, and microservices
- Support the ingestion, processing, validation, and exchange of aeronautical and geospatial data
- Participate in Agile sprint planning, development, testing, and backlog activities
Required qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience with modern programming languages and software development frameworks
- Familiarity with Git-based source control and modern software development practices
- Experience working with databases, APIs, and application integrations
- Ability to work effectively within an Agile software development team
