Judiciary Translator and Interpreter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Freelance Linguist - Judiciary Translator, Editor, Transcriber and/or Interpreter (U.S. Citizen).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal translation, editing, transcription, and interpretation services for government clients
• Utilize correct legal and technical terminology in both English and the source language
• Complete assignments on-demand during standard business hours (9-5 EST)

Required Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in language services for governmental clients
• Bachelor's degree in a foreign language, linguistics, or a related field
• Experience with CAT tools, preferably Trados
• Advanced proficiency in English and the target foreign language(s)
• U.S. citizenship and willingness to undergo security clearance processing
