Jumbo Underwriter
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Jumbo Underwriter to evaluate credit and property documents in loan files and make informed decisions regarding loan approvals.
Key Responsibilities
- Review loan submissions and generate credit decisions based on various underwriting guidelines
- Evaluate mortgage loan applications for eligibility and compliance with state, federal, and investor guidelines
- Perform credit and property analysis, including the assessment of complex tax returns and income calculations
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Non-conforming/Non-Agency Jumbo underwriting
- Strong knowledge of underwriting requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, and private investors
- Five or more years of mortgage underwriting experience with Non-Conforming or Non-Agency Jumbo loans
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with Encompass 360
