Junior Accountant

Job Summary

To support the growing global finance team, the full-time Junior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations, while working remotely from the Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post day-to-day journal entries for various transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Maintain and update the general ledger while performing bank reconciliations and assisting with financial inquiries
• Draft and send invoices to clients and manage documentation related to payments and financial reporting

Required qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy with US GAAP experience; CPA is a plus
• 2-3 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in audit or an accounting firm
• Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and related platforms; knowledge of other e-commerce systems is advantageous
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero
• Able to reconcile external documentation with company records and understand financial statements
