Junior Accountant

Job Summary

Providing analytical and administrative support, the full-time Junior Accountant will manage reviews, reconciliations, and documentation in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct reviews and reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial documentation
• Support data analysis and maintain documentation for Federal compliance
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools to assist in accounting tasks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 1 to 9 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial analysis
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
• Familiarity with Federal cost principles or willingness to learn 2 CFR Part 200 requirements
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
