Junior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support month end close processes including transactions, journal entry prep, and reconciliations
• Run routine reports and perform analysis using Excel
• Identify and research accounting transaction discrepancies and maintain accounting records
• Cross train with team members and provide accounting function support

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 2 years of AP, AR, and general accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting fundamentals
• Intermediate Excel skills including proficiency with pivot tables, vlookups, and sumif functions
