Junior Actuary
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Junior Actuary to support its pricing and portfolio strategy team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with developing pricing strategies to support growth and profitability goals
- Collaborate with senior actuaries to refine underwriting guidelines and procedures
- Analyze data to support pricing and strategy decisions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, mathematics, or actuarial science
- Experience with Excel
- Experience in the health insurance industry or data analysis is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases is a plus
- Progress towards Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation preferred
