Junior AI Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of modern data pipelines and AI-ready analytics assets, the full-time Junior AI Data Engineer will assist in building and maintaining data ingestion workflows using Dagster, transforming data with dbt, and creating curated MART tables for internal AI agents, all in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building, testing, and maintaining data ingestion pipelines using Dagster
- Develop and maintain dbt models for staging, transformation, and MART-layer data structures
- Collaborate with teams to define data contracts, pipeline dependencies, and schema standards
Required Qualifications
- Foundational experience with SQL and relational data concepts
- Basic experience with Python or another scripting language
- Familiarity with data pipelines, ETL/ELT concepts, and structured data formats
- Interest in data modeling, schema design, and modern data platforms
- Willingness to learn tools such as Dagster, dbt, and AWS services
