Junior AI Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of AI-powered tools for public health, the full-time remote Junior AI Engineer will design and build applications across multiple cloud platforms, focusing on automation, data analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and deploy internal AI-powered applications and automation tools across platforms like GCP, AWS, and Azure
• Design external-facing applications, such as chatbots, to meet client needs and enhance public health programs
• Collaborate with the AI Committee Lead to translate public health needs into technical requirements and AI solutions

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree required; recent college graduates encouraged to apply
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with AI/ML applications
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Experience working with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and vector databases
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced remote environment
