Junior Appian Developer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Junior Appian Developer will contribute to the development of secure application features, testing, documentation, and defect resolution while working remotely under the guidance of experienced developers.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and document Appian objects, write tests, and address review feedback while building proficiency across various Appian practices
• Configure and develop Appian interfaces and related application objects according to approved designs and standards
• Create and execute unit tests and support UI, accessibility, and integration testing, resolving defects with guidance from senior team members

Required qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship with prior experience supporting the U.S. Federal Government as a federal employee or contractor
• 0-3 years of relevant experience in application development or process automation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or 2 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Appian Certified Associate Developer certification or the ability to obtain it within 6 months of starting
• Foundational knowledge of Appian interfaces, expression rules, and software-development lifecycle practices
