Junior Automation Tester
Job Summary
Seeking a remote Junior Automation Tester, this full-time position will focus on performing functional and regression testing, creating and maintaining automated test cases, and supporting API testing while collaborating with team members in a quality engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional and regression testing activities
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases using established frameworks and tools
- Support API testing by validating requests, responses, status codes, and authentication behavior
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, test automation, or related software development roles
- Foundational knowledge of functional testing, regression testing, and defect lifecycle
- Basic understanding of API testing, including request and response validation
- Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language such as Java, JavaScript, or SQL
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
