Job Summary
Seeking a motivated Junior Automation Tester, this remote position will involve performing functional and regression testing, creating and executing automated test cases, and supporting API testing, all while adhering to established team standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional and regression testing activities
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases using established frameworks and tools
- Support API testing by validating requests, responses, status codes, and authentication behavior
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related roles
- Foundational knowledge of functional testing, regression testing, and defect lifecycle
- Basic understanding of API testing concepts
- Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language such as Java, JavaScript, or SQL
- Exposure to CI/CD concepts and pipeline-based testing using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
