Job Summary
Seeking a Junior Automation Tester with 1 to 2 years of experience, this remote position will focus on performing functional and regression testing, creating and maintaining automated test cases, and supporting API testing while following established team standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional and regression testing activities
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test cases using established frameworks and tools
- Support API testing by validating requests, responses, status codes, and authentication behavior
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, test automation, or related software development roles
- Foundational knowledge of functional testing, regression testing, and defect lifecycle
- Some experience creating or maintaining automated tests using common tools or frameworks
- Basic understanding of API testing, including request and response validation
- Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language such as Java, JavaScript, or SQL
