Junior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Backend Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Write scalable solutions by separating business logic into microservices
• Contribute to the codebase using test-driven design while considering scalability
• Implement security and data protection principles, and set up performance monitoring systems

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with NodeJS (ES7), SQL, NSQL, Infrastructure as Code, Docker, and Cloud deployments
• 1-2 years of experience as a backend engineer
• Some experience in DevOps, including performance monitoring systems and build pipelines
• Solid understanding of the deployment process across a microservice architecture
• Experience with large codebases and a test-driven, code review culture
