Junior Biostatistician
Job Summary
To support military activities, the full-time Junior Biostatistician will collect, engineer, process, and analyze data remotely, transforming raw data into actionable insights through statistical analysis and data mining.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL Server and Databricks for scalable data processing
- Analyze operational data to provide insights and support decision-making for military readiness and planning
- Create visual analytics and dashboards using Power BI to communicate findings and metrics effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 years of experience in quantitative or social science disciplines
- Proficiency in SQL Server and foundational programming skills in Python or R
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark, preferably PySpark
- Familiarity with Power BI for developing visual analytics and dashboards
