Junior Business Data Analyst

Job Summary

Curious and detail-oriented, the remote Junior Business Data Analyst will support data-driven decision-making by building reports, writing SQL queries, and providing insights to help business leaders understand performance and identify opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze data to identify trends and support root cause analysis while assisting in KPI tracking and data governance
• Write and maintain SQL queries, optimize performance, and document data logic for reporting needs
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports, contributing to automated reporting solutions and executive presentations

Required qualifications:

• 2 or more years of experience in an analytics or data-focused role
• Proficiency in SQL, including joins, CTEs, and window functions
• Experience with Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Redshift, and Databricks
• Familiarity with AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT as part of the workflow
• Ability to gather and document business requirements and present findings clearly
