Junior Collateral Underwriter

Job Summary

To support the underwriting department, the full-time Junior Collateral Underwriter will review appraisals and related documentation for accuracy and compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Review and underwrite appraisals upon receipt from the Appraisal Administration Department
• Analyze appraisals and supplemental orders in accordance with appraisal review procedures and company guidelines
• Identify potential appraisal concerns and clear appraisal-related underwriting conditions prior to closing

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of Conventional underwriting experience required
• Knowledge of investor guidelines and requirements
• Experience in appraisal review or collateral review preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
