Junior Collateral Underwriter

Job Summary

Supporting the underwriting department, the full-time remote Junior Collateral Underwriter will review appraisals, analyze collateral documentation, and clear appraisal-related conditions prior to closing.

Key responsibilities

• Review and underwrite appraisals upon receipt from the Appraisal Administration Department
• Analyze appraisals and supplemental orders in accordance with company guidelines
• Identify potential appraisal concerns and communicate decisions clearly to relevant parties

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3+ years of Conventional underwriting experience required
• Knowledge of investor guidelines and requirements
• Experience in appraisal review or collateral review preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
