Junior Contract Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Contract Specialist to support the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of procurement documents for accuracy and completeness
• Draft and prepare contract-related documents and forms, and process purchase requisitions
• Monitor contractor performance and perform post-award administration in support of the Contracting Officer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in any field or 24 semester hours in relevant subjects such as accounting, business, or finance
• Two years of federal contracting experience working on government acquisitions within the last five years
