Junior Data Analyst

Job Summary

Passionate about using data to drive positive change in education, the full-time Junior Data Analyst will build interactive reports and visualizations, develop data processes, and collaborate with team members to support K-12 schools in making data accessible remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build reports and visualizations to make education data accessible for students, families, and staff
• Develop and maintain data ingestion, cleaning, and transformation processes
• Write and troubleshoot SQL queries to prepare datasets for analysis

Required qualifications

• Experience writing SQL queries by hand, including joins, aggregations, filtering, and grouping across multiple tables
• Ability to analyze large datasets to identify issues or trends
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git)
• Completion of relevant coursework or 1+ years of related professional experience in data analysis or a related field
• Genuine interest in education and improving outcomes for K-12 students
