Junior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Data Infrastructure Engineer to join their European Data Infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining data infrastructure solutions
• Support existing data pipelines and infrastructure, monitoring performance and troubleshooting issues
• Contribute to improving the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of data workflows

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 0-2 years of experience in data engineering or infrastructure engineering (internships and academic projects count)
• Basic understanding of data processing technologies such as Apache Spark or Hadoop
• Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala
• Introductory experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and basic knowledge of Linux
