Junior Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Data Engineer to help evolve their modern data stack and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain data pipelines and dbt models for reliable data flow
• Collaborate with analysts to structure datasets optimized for reporting and activation
• Troubleshoot data issues and contribute to documentation for the data team

Required Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field
• Solid understanding of SQL and foundational-to-intermediate level of Python
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses, preferably BigQuery, and version control (Git)
• Eager to learn dbt, reverse ETL, and workflow orchestration tools
• Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced startup environment
