Junior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the automation and optimization of data pipelines, the remote Junior Data Engineer will develop Python scripts, design Power BI dashboards, and collaborate with senior engineers to ensure data integrity and availability for business decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications for data processing and automation
• Design and create Power BI dashboards and reports to provide insights to stakeholders
• Review data for accuracy and assist in IT support to ensure smooth business operations

Required qualifications:

• Completed university degree in computer science or an engineering field
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in IT or data science with proficiency in Python and Power BI
• Strong command of the English language (written and verbal)
• Availability to work full shifts across various US time zones (EST, CST, MST, PST)
• Experience with Python libraries such as scipy, pandas, and scikit-learn
