Junior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the development of scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions, the full-time Junior Data Engineer will build and optimize data models within Azure and Databricks to enhance business intelligence and reporting capabilities in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain analytics-ready datasets and transformations within Databricks and Azure-based data platforms
• Build and support data transformation workflows and analytics processes utilizing Databricks in the Azure cloud environment
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support the development and optimization of Power BI and Tableau dashboards for actionable business insights

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (master's degree preferred)
• 2-4 years of experience in data analytics, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data engineering roles
• Proven ability to develop executive-level dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau
• Strong experience with SQL for data querying, modeling, and transformation
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services and Databricks preferred
