Junior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Digital Platform Execution team, the remote, contract-to-hire Junior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines while collaborating with senior engineers and analysts to enhance data infrastructure and analytics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks, Python, and SQL
• Build and optimize data workflows to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives
• Collaborate with senior engineers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL development, or analytics engineering
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in Azure environments
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks for data transformation and workflow development
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and automation
