Junior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support data integration and reporting efforts, the full-time Junior Data Engineer will collaborate with the analytics team to design and implement ETL processes, perform data manipulation, and build utilities for data flow in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the analytics team to identify and implement reliable data solutions
• Design and implement scalable ETL or ELT processes to meet business data demands
• Build utilities and frameworks to enhance data flow, including automated unit tests

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline
• Intermediate proficiency in Python, with experience in data processing tools like Numpy and Pandas being a plus
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
• Passion for data and a strong desire to learn
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
