Junior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the remote Junior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems while collaborating with other engineers to evaluate new tools and technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and models using Databricks, dbt, and SQL (PostgreSQL)
• Develop robust data solutions leveraging AWS services such as Redshift, RDS, S3, Glue, and Lambda
• Implement data transformations and integrations using Python and Java while ensuring system reliability and performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 1+ years of professional experience in data engineering or related domains
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and AWS services
• Proficiency in dbt, SQL (PostgreSQL), Python, and Java
• Experience working in agile, iterative software development environments
