Junior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support data engineering efforts, the full-time remote Junior Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data models using tools such as Databricks, SQL, and Python
• Develop and optimize AWS-native data solutions leveraging services like AWS Glue, Amazon EMR, and Redshift
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to define requirements and continuously improve engineering processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5 years of professional experience in data engineering or related domains
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks for large-scale data engineering and ETL/ELT development
• Proficiency with AWS services including Redshift, RDS, S3, and Glue
• Experience working in agile, iterative software development environments
