Junior Data Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the Senior Data Engineer, the on-demand Junior Data Engineer will build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for various data sources while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for FedEx, customer, and third-party data sources under guidance
- Write and optimize SQL and Python transformations on Databricks and Postgres
- Implement data-quality checks and help monitor pipeline health
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years in a data engineering or analytics-engineering role (internships and strong project work count)
- Solid SQL and Python skills
- Exposure to Databricks/Spark and cloud data pipelines
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, relational modeling, and Postgres
- Eagerness to learn lakehouse, streaming, and graph technologies
