Junior Data Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Data Scientist.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of data-driven features for pricing and promotion strategies
• Build, test, and maintain analytical models for demand forecasting and price sensitivity
• Analyze structured and unstructured retail data to identify trends and generate actionable insights

Required Qualifications

• Strong foundation in mathematics including linear algebra, probability, and statistics
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Python and machine learning algorithms
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis using SQL and Python
• 1+ years of experience in retail or CPG with expertise in price elasticity modeling
• 1+ year of experience with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines
