Junior Data Scientist

Job Summary

Supporting the development of data-driven features, the full-time Junior Data Scientist will build and maintain analytical models for demand forecasting and pricing strategies while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build, test, and maintain analytical models for demand forecasting, price sensitivity, and promotion performance
• Analyze structured and unstructured retail data to identify trends and generate actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and scale data solutions, communicating findings through analysis and visualizations

Required qualifications

• Strong foundation in mathematics, including linear algebra, probability, and statistics
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Python (pandas, NumPy) and machine learning libraries like scikit-learn
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis using SQL and Python, including data extraction and preparation
• 1+ years of experience in retail or CPG, with expertise in price elasticity modeling and demand forecasting
• 1+ year of experience with MLOps and CI/CD pipelines, focusing on AI and analytics solutions
