Junior Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support the development of data-driven features for pricing and promotion strategies, the full-time Junior Data Scientist will build, test, and maintain analytical models for demand forecasting and price sensitivity while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of features to improve revenue and profitability through pricing and promotion strategies
• Build and maintain analytical models for demand forecasting and promotion performance
• Analyze structured and unstructured retail data to identify trends and generate actionable insights

Required qualifications

• Strong foundation in mathematics, including linear algebra, probability, and statistics
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Python (pandas, NumPy) and machine learning libraries like scikit-learn
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis using SQL and Python, including data extraction and preparation
• 1+ years of experience in retail or CPG, focusing on price elasticity modeling and demand forecasting
• Experience with MLOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
