Job Summary
Supporting the development of analytical capabilities, the full-time Junior Data Scientist will conduct quantitative analysis on commercial real estate markets, build and maintain data pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous quantitative analysis on commercial real estate markets to identify trends and insights
- Build and maintain automated data pipelines for processing CRE and macroeconomic datasets
- Develop and maintain documentation for data sources, model architecture, and data flows
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Data Science, Real Estate, Applied Economics, Geography, Urban Planning, or a related quantitative field; master's degree preferred
- 2 to 6 years of experience in a research, analytical, or data science role, preferably in real estate or urban policy
- Strong command of quantitative methods such as regression, time series analysis, and spatial econometrics
- Proficiency in Python and/or R, with working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with cloud platforms
- Experience with public datasets commonly used in urban and real estate research, such as Census products
