Junior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting a dynamic technology team, the full-time Junior DevOps Engineer will assist in designing and maintaining scalable systems, work on CI/CD pipelines, and leverage AI tools to enhance operational efficiency in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, fault-tolerant systems with guidance from senior engineers
• Work with Software Engineering and QA teams to support deployment processes for microservices-based architectures
• Help build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for container-based application deployment and rollback

Required qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud, or a related role
• Foundational understanding of containerization (Docker) and exposure to a cluster orchestrator (Kubernetes preferred)
• Familiarity with at least one CI/CD platform (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Basic scripting ability in a language such as Python, Bash, or Go
