Job Summary

Focused on the audiovisual sector, the full-time Junior Editor - German will manage the development and creation of media databases, ensuring accurate and timely updates of TV listings and entertainment information, with the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid setting within Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire and record accurate program information from various German channels and top content providers
• Edit and maintain TV listings, curating information on movies and shows while ensuring database accuracy
• Investigate and document questionable program content by consulting program information providers

Required qualifications

• Native or near-native German with impeccable writing and verbal skills
• Background in journalism, copywriting, or translation preferred
• Strong knowledge of German television and VOD programming, along with a passion for movies
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines with a high level of attention to detail
• Proficiency in Windows and experience with computer software and databases
