Junior Finance Controller

Job Summary

Supporting the financial management of the organization, the full-time Junior Finance Controller will assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
• Monitoring financial performance against budgets and forecasts, and reporting discrepancies to senior management
• Supporting the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts by gathering data and preparing reports

Required qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or auditing
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards, such as GAAP or IFRS
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
• Strong foundation in accounting and financial principles, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role
