Job Summary
Supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) team, the full-time Junior Financial Analyst will manage budget support services, assist in developing financial planning guides, and consolidate financial records in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide budget support throughout the Federal budget process, including formulation and contract closeout
- Assist in developing training materials for the FPS financial community regarding planning and budgeting
- Consolidate and manage historical financial and budgetary records, ensuring accurate reporting and documentation
Required qualifications:
- 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- 1 year of project management and program analysis experience, with skills in presenting information and facilitating discussions
- 2 years of experience working in teams, demonstrating analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust security clearance
- Interest in Federal financial execution and related business systems
