Junior Full-Stack Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of K-12 educational tools, the on-site Junior Full-Stack Product Engineer will build web applications and internal tools using a TypeScript stack, focusing on end-to-end feature ownership and integration with various services.

Key responsibilities

• Build full-stack features in TypeScript, from UI to API routes and database schema, and iterate based on user feedback
• Design clean, responsive user interfaces in React and Tailwind, ensuring functionality across multiple devices
• Write API routes and manage data models and queries in Postgres, while integrating various tools and maintaining production health

Required qualifications

• Experience shipping full-stack TypeScript applications with real users and a live URL
• Strong product instincts with the ability to scope and develop solutions based on user needs
• Proficiency in React and a solid understanding of component structure and state management
• Ability to model data in Postgres and handle backend responsibilities, including API development and performance considerations
• Comfortable navigating the entire stack, from frontend to backend, and completing projects efficiently
