Junior Fullstack Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a mission-driven team, the full-time Junior Fullstack Engineer will build and maintain features for a lending platform, contribute to data pipeline work, and utilize AI-assisted development tools while working remotely within the Eastern and Central time zones.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and maintain features across the Clasp Finance platform, including loan origination workflows and administrative tools
• Write clean, tested code in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, ensuring high standards for correctness
• Contribute to data pipeline work by writing reliable ETL jobs and maintaining data quality

Required qualifications:

• 0-3 years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent through bootcamp, internships, or personal projects
• Solid working fluency in Python, TypeScript, and/or JavaScript
• Introductory familiarity with cloud infrastructure or serverless functions
• A portfolio showcasing learning velocity and genuine curiosity in software development
• High attention to detail, particularly in ensuring data integrity and correctness in a financial platform
