Junior Fullstack Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Junior Fullstack Engineer will design, maintain, fix, deploy, and monitor APIs and features for SerpApi, utilizing a stack that includes Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, and JavaScript.

Key responsibilities

• Design APIs, solutions, and features to incorporate into SerpApi
• Conduct PR code reviews and assist other engineers with troubleshooting customer-reported issues
• Test solutions thoroughly and publish polished, well-thought-out code before deployment

Required qualifications

• Experience with Ruby, JavaScript, and web technologies
• Familiarity with APIs, scraping, and CAPTCHA solving
• Ability to write technical blog posts and document solutions
• Strong understanding of deploying applications on Linux servers and AWS
• Willingness to prioritize and manage issues on both private and public roadmaps
