Job Summary

A company is looking for a Junior Government Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Fully underwrite VA IRRRL loans and FHA Streamline loans
Review loan documentation for accuracy and update conditions as needed
Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, investor requirements, and company policies

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years of processing experience in the retail mortgage lending industry
Experience with Encompass
Working knowledge of FNMA/FHLMC eligibility guidelines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel)
