Junior Java Developer

Job Summary

To support application development, the full-time Junior Java Developer will develop applications using Java 8/JEE, Angular 2+, and React.js while writing scalable code and collaborating with team members in California or New Jersey.

Key responsibilities

• Develop applications and write maintainable code using Java, Angular, and other technologies
• Create, deploy, and maintain automated system tests while addressing defects in collaboration with testers
• Investigate and present alternatives and technologies for architectural review to support continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Experience in Java and JavaScript programming languages
• Basic understanding of the software development life cycle and object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Familiarity with relational databases and basic SQL query skills
• Knowledge of common APIs and data structures, such as Collections and Maps
• 0-1 year of practical experience in Java coding is preferred
