Junior Loan Processor

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Junior Loan Processor will assist the Processing team by reviewing FHA Reverse mortgage loan applications, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining data accuracy in the loan origination system.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees and maintains the submissions mailbox while preparing pre-application and application packages
• Reviews financial and credit documents for compliance and orders necessary case numbers, appraisals, and titles
• Partners with Processors to evaluate the completeness of loan applications and remains current on industry regulations

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor of Arts preferred
• Familiarity with automated Loan Origination Systems and the mortgage industry
• Current knowledge of industry guidelines and federal, state, and local regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
