Junior Logistics Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Logistics Analyst - Junior to manage the flow of goods from domestic vendors to distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate inbound transportation from vendors to distribution centers using a Transportation Management System (TMS)
• Source and assign freight to carriers to optimize cost, routing, and transit times
• Monitor carrier capacity and performance metrics while collaborating with carriers and internal logistics teams

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation planning, logistics, or supply chain operations
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret KPIs and financial data
• Knowledge of freight modes including Truckload, LTL, Intermodal, and parcel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
